Introduction to Music Production

Music Production involves a lot of techniques along with artistic skills. A modern music producer should have the ability to manipulate sounds, understand synthesis in depth and know all the tools available in his DAW. Our well trained faculties are not only experienced in correctly grooming a raw talent, but are industry professionals themselves who are totally well versed with Modern Music production Techniques.

Explore Logic Pro X, apple's feature rich production software. In this short course we cover all the basics to get you started on your music creation journey. The course includes the following topics

Day 1 : introduction to music production and logic.
Explore the GUI (graphic user interface)
Learn about the set up process and get cracking by adding sounds and placing them.

Day 2 : learn how to record and edit audio and explore various processes of changing and adapting audio to our needs.

Day 3 : Let's use Apple loops and start to build layers and ideas. We explore 3rd party audio material and see how we can adapt them to our liking.

Day 4 : Class 4 sees us incorporating virtual instruments and we cover MIDI. Let's also use effects to add to the sounds that we have already created.

Day 5 : The final class will show us how to turn our ideas into songs, learn basics of managing their levels through the mixer and finally sharing it with our audience and the rest of the world.
